A basic guide to laundry machine options featured image

Having a reliable washing machine and dryer can help laundry time to run smoothly and quickly. With more washer dryer set options available, you can find the right fit for the space and needs of your home.

Compact washers & dryers for tighter spaces

If your home has limited space, consider purchasing a compact washer and dryer set. These devices are more narrow than average washing machines and sometimes come stacked on top of each other to take up less floor space.

On top of being more compressed, these machines can also be energy efficient and use less water, which over time can save you money on utility bills. If you don’t have the port for the device, some compact washing machines are portable and just need to be plugged in and have close access to running water.

Smart laundry machines

If you enjoy using smart home appliances, consider purchasing a smart laundry machine to ease some of the tasks during the laundry process.

A smart machine can allow you to remotely monitor your wash load right from an app on your phone. From the app, you can also adjust wash settings to your liking and be notified when clothes are finished with the washing cycle and when it’s time to load them into the dryer.

Washing machines are an investment towards the cleanliness of your household. Before choosing a device, consider the space you have to work with, if you have standard ports, and your overall needs to pick the best machine for your home.
